In cases where a design potentially infringes on intellectual property rights, we reserve the right to remove the content or request immediate revisions. Designers will be notified of any concerns and are expected to cooperate in addressing these issues swiftly. Your understanding and cooperation in this matter are crucial for maintaining the integrity of our platform and the trust of our users and rights holders.
To ensure our templates comply with intellectual property laws and avoid copyright infringement, please adhere to the following guidelines when creating designs for potential commercial use.
Recommended Practices for Designers:

Conduct a quick research. Before finalizing a design idea, conduct quick research to ensure that your design does not inadvertently infringe on existing copyrights. For a faster workflow, use Google Image Search or USPTO Trademark Search.

Keep documentation. During your design process, including sources of inspiration. This can be used as evidence of the original working process.

Guidelines for Commercial Use Designs
Trademarks Symbols & Logos
3.1 Do not use trademarked logos, symbols, or brand names without explicit permission.
Create original logos that don't closely mimic existing brand identities.
When creating logos by combining multiple elements and texts, ensure they don’t resemble existing intellectual property.

3.4 All characters and mascots must not imitate copyrighted characters or recognizable figures owned by other entities. All characters and mascot designs must comply with applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

3.5 Both real-life images and AI-generated images, the images resemble close to real-life celebrities, constituting infringement of the artist's copyright, publicity, or publicity rights.
Consequences of Infringement
Note the following consequences:
Removal of any infringing material from all platforms.
Full accountability for any legal repercussions arising from the infringement, including but not limited to, claims from the property rights holders.
Obligation to cover all financial penalties including but not limited to, legal fees, damages, and operational costs incurred to MiriCanvas as a result of infringement.
In cases where infringement is identified prior to registration, the design may be rejected, or a complete redesign.
Persistent or repeated infringement may lead to the termination of the partnership agreement, along with the requirement to reimburse any accumulated royalties or payments.

Prioritize originality in your designs while meticulously adhering to copyright laws and intellectual property rights, you contribute to a trustworthy and respected design community on MiriCanvas.

Content Moderation
Even if certain content elements or images are available in the MiriCanvas library, designers have both the right and responsibility to select and utilize appropriate design elements when creating templates.
Discriminatory content
3.6 MiriCanvas does not tolerate content that promotes discrimination, hatred, or prejudice based on:
Age
Identity
Race & ethnicity
Disability status
Religion
Sexual orientation
Note: Content that incites violence against individuals or groups based on the above characteristics may be subject to modification or removal from the MiriCanvas library.
We specifically review designs that harm identities related to age, disability, ethnicity, religion, race, sexual orientation, gender, and more.
Submissions that violate this policy will be immediately made private from the MiriCanvas library. We may request the designer to redesign the content or proceed with deletion.
Additionally, we also inform you that accounts may be closed if submissions continue to be reported.
Our goal is to create a beneficial and safe design environment for everyone, and we will take necessary measures to carefully review violations and maintain our internal standards.
Explicit content
3.7 MiriCanvas prohibits the spread of the following design content through templates and designs:
Hateful or discriminatory content targeting specific individuals or groups
Sexually explicit content
Content that incites violence, hatred, or fear
Content depicting crime, drugs, or weapons
Content created with harmful language or for spreading misinformation
Any content that is immoral or defamatory
Artistic or educational expressions may be allowed with minimal appropriate usage depending on the design subject.
While minimal use of restricted content may be permitted for these purposes, it must be clearly labeled and contextualized.
Exceptional subjects may include, but are not limited to, online games, violence awareness, and human anatomy educational materials.
Message to Designers
Through MiriCanvas's detailed project briefs and director guidance, we significantly reduce the possibility of designers including or utilizing potentially misleading information on MiriCanvas.
All templates and designs published on MiriCanvas undergo review by internal teams or external experts to maintain a high-quality content library.
