Template Payment Overview
1. Payment date
•
Payments for approved templates will be sent via Payoneer by the 25th of following month.
•
For example, templates submitted and approved in January will be paid on February 25.
•
You will receive an email with the payment details at the beginning of each month.
Please reply with your confirmation if the amount is correct.

2. Prepare to receive your payment

Connect Payoneer: Connect your Payoneer account to DesignHub to receive the payment.
•
Upload ID proof document: Upload a copy of either your Passport or National ID card on DesignHub > Payout Information.
•
Submit the Payout Information for Review
Once you link your Payoneer account and upload your documents, make sure to click submit. If you don't, we're unable to review your payout details and send payments.
3. How to Submit Payout Information in DesignHub

Tax withholding & Apply for Tax Reduction
What is tax withholding?
•
"Tax witholding" refers to the money that an employer deducts from an employee’s gross wages and pays to the government.
•
For MiriCanvas, as per the South Korean government laws, 22% of your payment will be withheld for tax purposes.

Can I get a reduced tax witholding rate and get more payment?

Yes. Countries with bilateral tax treaties allow a reduced withholding tax rate, while specific rates vary by country and tax treaty.
▪
You can apply for a reduced tax rate by uploading the required documents on DesignHub and submitting your Payout Information again for review.
How can I apply for tax reduction?
•
Fill out the Reduced Tax Rate application form (ONLY THE KOREAN PART)
•
The application form can be downloaded from DesignHub's Payout Information page when you opt to apply for the Reduced Tax Rate.
Important: You must fill out the KOREAN version of the application form.
•
The application form has total of four pages. Two in Korean and two in English. The English version is for reference only to help you understand where to input information in the Korean form.
•
You may fill out the Korean form in English, except for Q9 (Claim of Tax Treaty Provision), which must be completed in Korean.
•
For Q9, please COPY and PASTE the required information from the website linked below.
•
You can leave the English version of the application form blank.

Reasons why your payment wasn't processed
1.
Minimum amount not met:
The minimum amount required for a Payoneer Transaction is 7$ USD. If your total due payment amount for a month doesn't exceed 7$ USD (after Tax deduction), then your payment will be carry-forwarded to next month.

Payout Information not submitted and approved.
