I am the vine; you are the branches. If he remains in me and I in him,
A person bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

If a man does not abide in me, he is thrown away like a branch and withers.
People gather them and throw them into the fire and they burn.

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish.
Then it will come true

By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit.
You will be my disciples.

As the Father loved me, so I also loved you.
Abide in my love

Just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love,
If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love.

(All together) I tell you this so that my joy may be in you.
