When Jesus was baptized, he went up immediately from the water, and the heavens were opened,
He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him.
And a voice came from heaven, saying,
This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” (Matthew 3:16-17)
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Teach them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling.
One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God.
He is the Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all (Eph 4:4-6)
