How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD Almighty!
My soul longs, yes, faints, for the courts of the LORD.
My heart and my flesh cry out to the living God.
My King and my God, the LORD Almighty,
Even the sparrow has found a home at your altar, and the swallow a nest where she may have her young.
Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they will always praise you.
Blessed is the man whose strength is in the Lord, in whose heart are the highways to Zion.
When they pass through the valley of tears
There will be many springs there, and the early rain will fill the land with blessings (1-6)
For one day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. (10)
Blessed is the man who trusts in you, O LORD Almighty (12)
