Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation.
Deliver me from the wicked and the unjust.

Why have you forsaken me, O God, who is my strength?
Why do I go about sadly, oppressed by the enemy?
Send me your light and your truth to guide me.
Let us come to your holy mountain and to your dwelling place.
Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my great joy.

Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me?
