You have searched me, O LORD, and you know me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you perceive my thoughts from afar.

Where can I go from your spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there.

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me, and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting (23-24)
