How long, O LORD, will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?

How long will my soul be troubled and my heart anxious all day long?
How long will my enemy boast against me?

Think about me, O LORD my God, and answer me; enlighten my eyes.
I am afraid that I will sleep the sleep of death.

I am afraid that my enemy will say, 'I have overcome him.'
When I am shaken, will my enemies rejoice?

I have relied only on your love.
My heart rejoices in your salvation.

(All together) I will praise the Lord, for he has been good to me (1-6)
