Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen as his own inheritance.
For Jehovah looks down from heaven and observes all mankind.
Soon he will look down from his dwelling place on all the inhabitants of the earth.
He is the one who shapes their hearts and watches over their actions.
No king is saved by the multitude of his host; no warrior is saved by his great strength (Psalm 33:12-16)
Our soul waits for the LORD; he is our help and shield.
Our heart rejoices in him, for we trust in his holy name.
Grant us your lovingkindness, O LORD, according to our hope in you (Psalm 33:20-22)
