How do I make an assignment I'm editing private?

Learn about general settings for assignments. Label your assignments and choose between public or private settings.
Assignments that you edit directly are public by default, meaning anyone can access them from the Public Assignments section of the worksheet editor. To change this setting, click the 'Private Assignments' button at the bottom of the Assignments editor.
The important thing is that you should always label your assignments, whether they are public or private! Tagging helps you access your assignments more easily and quickly, so you don’t have to spend a lot of time searching for them later. You can search for and copy assignments in seconds by using keywords that you tag.
Without tags, it is difficult to distinguish one assignment from another, making it much more time-consuming to search and identify them when copying or deleting them from the repository.
Tagging is also available at the bottom of the assignment editor, where you can enter unique tags for the assignment in the 'Label' field. It's important to use a clear label that is closely related to the assignment. This makes it easier to access later, and easier for users of assignments that are set to public to navigate.
