Mizou AI

Mizou is an educational AI platform designed by teachers to facilitate learning, practice, and assessment through one-on-one conversations with students.

What kind of tool is it?

When a teacher creates a chatbot tailored to a subject or unit, the chatbot poses problems to students, asks questions, and provides explanations and hints.
Students can naturally practice concepts by interacting with the chatbot via text or voice, asking questions, solving problems, and engaging in role-playing.
The chatbot provides simple grading and feedback based on students' answers and conversation records, and teachers can check this on a single screen.

Key functions from a teacher's perspective

You can easily create a classroom chatbot by setting prompts, learning objectives, grade levels, and rules (language used, number of questions, difficulty level, etc.).
By uploading a textbook PDF or a self-created material, you can create a chatbot that asks questions and provides explanations based on the content. You can also use chatbots created by other teachers.
Create sessions for each class to monitor each student's conversation history and level of understanding, making them ideal for formative assessments, homework assignments, and supplementary learning.
It is designed to be relatively safe for use by elementary school students as it collects minimal personal information from students and has a structure where teachers have control.

Experience from a student's perspective

After accessing the link or QR code, you can immediately start a conversation with the chatbot by simply entering your student number and name.
If you have trouble understanding, you can ask for hints or have it explained again, and practice repeatedly at your own pace.
You can listen to explanations of concepts in various subjects such as language, social studies, science, and math, and receive immediate feedback while explaining them yourself, giving you the feeling of studying with a personal tutor.

Utilization in K-12

In foreign language classes, you can practice real-life conversations with chatbots in the target language, or receive corrective feedback on grammar and expressions.
In social studies and history, you can check your understanding of the content by having a conversation in an interview format with a chatbot that has been given the role of a historical figure.
In math and science, it is used to explain the solution process or to correct misconceptions through conceptual questions and answers.

Use at universities

We're creating a tutor chatbot to review major concepts, allowing students to self-direct and repeat their learning before exams.
You can implement "interactive scenarios" such as interview and presentation practice, business English simulations, and more into chatbots for practical use.
Chatbots are also used to train students' logical thinking by having them take opposing positions in debate preparation, argument practice, and more.
