This block allows you to add images in various formats, such as JPG, PNG, and GIF. You can link, enter captions, and align them.
Add image
There are three ways to add:
•
An image block will be added by typing /image in the blank space and pressing Enter . Alternatively, click + on the left side of the block and select Image .
•
Drag an image from a folder to an empty space.
•
Paste the copied image into a blank space.
Resize image
Click and drag the small dots on each corner of the image that appear when you hover your cursor over it. If you stretch it all the way to the edge of the screen, the Full Width will be applied.
Crop, rotate, flip image
Click the image editing icon in the toolbar at the top right of the image and select Edit .
The Edit button only appears when you upload an image yourself, not when you select an image from the Unsplash tab.
After cropping, rotating, and flipping the image, click Save to reflect the changes. To revert the image to its original state, click Reset .
Write text on image
Click ... → Convert to background block in the toolbar at the top right of the image. You can write text or add buttons, columns, tables, etc. by clicking on the image background.
Click on the handle on the left side of the image block to activate the Featured Image option. You can only set one per page or post, and when set, it will display as Featured Image in the upper left corner .
The featured image is used as a thumbnail in the following cases:
•
Preview of search results from Google etc.
•
Links shared on messengers, social media, etc.
•
List of posts in the blog channel
Change image
Click the handle on the left side of the image block, select Edit Image , and load the image you want to change.
Additional settings
You can apply the functions below by clicking the left handle of the image block.
•
Rounded Corners: Rounds the four corners of the image.
•
Link: Add a link to navigate to when the image is clicked.
•
Align: Align the image left, center, or right.
•
Caption: Write a description in small letters below the image.
•
Full Width: Scales the image to fill the entire screen regardless of page width.
•
Disable image zooming: Clicking on an image will not enlarge it.
