Google Sheets Integration

Automatically log data from the SlashPage channel to a Google Spreadsheet.
Google Sheets Connection
In the edit mode of the channel where you want to send data to Google Sheets, click External Service Integration in the page menu on the right side of the screen.
In the Connections section, click Connect to Google Sheets.
Log in to the Google account you want to create the spreadsheet in, then click Allow to grant access to SlashPage.
Set connection name
In the Connection Settings window, enter a name to distinguish between multiple connections.
Check the generated spreadsheet
A spreadsheet linked to the channel is automatically created. You can check the sheet by clicking the link. You can also check the created sheet in My Drive, and the access permission is set to 'Restricted'.
Enter the name of the sheet where the channel information will be stored.
Export existing data
You can also record data generated before linking into the sheet by clicking Export All Data .
Check the results
Once the connection is complete, it will appear in the connection list. You can disable each connection, change its settings, or delete it.
When a new post is uploaded to the linked SlashPage channel, it is saved in the spreadsheet as shown below.
➕
Tip. Connecting a survey channel will automatically save your survey results to a spreadsheet.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. If I change the location or permissions of a connected Google Sheet, will the connection be lost?
A. Since the connection is maintained even if the location or permissions of the sheet are changed, you can use it by moving the location or changing the permissions according to your convenience.
Q. Is it okay to change the name of a sheet frequently?
A. Changing the name of a sheet does not affect the connection.
Q. Is it okay to edit the contents of the sheet?
A. If it is not an area where data for a connected channel is written, you can freely edit, such as writing a memo. However, if you edit or write in that area, the existing content will be overwritten when the channel data is automatically written.
