This paper presents a method for verifying whether individual nodes in a decentralized AI agent network like Gaia are executing a specified LLM. We describe an algorithm that detects nodes executing unauthorized or incorrect LLMs through peer-to-peer social consensus within a cluster comprised primarily of honest nodes, and present experimental data obtained from the Gaia network. Furthermore, we discuss a subjective verification system implemented with EigenLayer AVS that introduces monetary incentives and penalties to encourage honest behavior among LLM nodes.
