To be honest, the reason I made this—no one probably even wonders about it

Earlier this year, I got a proposal from a publisher to write something related to prompt engineering. Having published the Notion guidebook myself, I realized just how tough it is to write guides for things that are always changing. For instance, when there are UI or UX updates, it’s hard to reflect them right away, and even if I do, I have to batch them together for the next printing. So in the end, only the fundamental features go in the guidebook while the latest updates have to keep coming out as so-called 'revised editions'.

Actually, Notion was the same—if you already have your own way of using something or a structured system, the specific tool doesn’t matter that much. (Like how a master isn't picky about tools.) It's the same with prompt engineering. Back then, tons of courses popped up, starting with how to write better prompts. But lectures or articles that genuinely get good results regardless of LLM or model are rare. To be honest, most are just sold for profit—like ‘Top 10 Prompts’ and such. Frankly, none of that really matters. Anyway, I'm rambling.

The reason for making this website is simple. I didn’t want the manuscript to go to waste, and I hope someone saves money and enjoys a good coffee or meal because of it. ‘Prompt’ literally means ‘to trigger’. It’s the action we use to instruct or command a computer to do something. I hope this kind of thoughtful sharing becomes a turning point or a new challenge for someone. In this guide, I plan to explain, in 42 different ways, how we describe tasks and give instructions to AI or language models.
