How do I edit a matching type task?

Learn about Redmenta's matching problem types! Here we summarize all the information you need to edit this type of problem.
Matching Problem Type: The test taker must create matching pairs from the given cards.
When editing a problem, you can enter instructions, cards to match, upload attachments if necessary, or write explanations for the correct answer.
To determine a matching pair, matching elements must be placed on the same row, on either side of the equals sign.
You can also set whether students will see the matching items in the order they set when editing, or in a random order. By default, answers are displayed randomly. You can change this by clicking the checkbox under the answer.
NOTE: When changing from random to fixed order, the order of the left column will be fixed, but the cards in the right column will be shuffled. This will help the candidate make the correct match.
Two input fields will automatically appear to create a matching pair, but of course you can specify more than two pairs. In this case, you can click the plus sign below the input fields to increase the number of fields and enter additional matches. In this problem type, the edited card can also contain a formula. To enter a formula, switch to the formula editor. When you are done editing, save the problem and go to the grading settings.
The scoring settings allow you to specify how many points to award to correctly matched and incorrectly matched pairs.
Tip: If you set the system to penalize incorrect pairs, the test taker may receive a negative score for this question. This setting prevents students from guessing and gives a more accurate picture of the student's actual knowledge level.
When you're done editing, save your issue!
Note: After saving, the paired elements will be displayed in the order you entered them, but when the test taker starts solving the problem, the cards will be shuffled (in fixed order, only the right column is shuffled, in random order, both the right and left columns are shuffled).
