Amid this growing momentum, The Invention Lab recently had the opportunity to participate in the Global EntrePrep Incubator 20255 Innovation Demo Day & Industry Networking—an event organized by VinUniversity and BLOCK71 Vietnam, spotlighting notable early-stage startups shaping the next wave of technological and social impact. The experience highlighted not only the strength and creativity of the participating teams but also the collaborative energy fueling Vietnam's new generation of innovation leaders.
1. Event Overview
🔸VinUni Entrepreneurship Lab
VinUni Entrepreneurship Lab (Elab) is the heart of the VinUniversity startup ecosystem, where innovation is nurtured, and entrepreneurial talent is empowered to create global impact.
Officially opened at the of the 2022-2023 academic year, ELab has quickly become a vibrant hub, where exciting seminars, mentoring programs, incubation programs, and competitions for VinUniversity students, as well as students nationwide, take place. Not only does it create opportunities for students to learn and work right from their first year, but ELab also contributes to promoting students' entrepreneurial spirit, thereby helping them gain early success out in the real world.
Elab focuses on supporting promising young startups and advancing the commercialization of deep technologies developed at VinUni. Through incubation and acceleration programs, expert mentorship, and strong connections with corporate and investment partners in Vietnam and abroad, Elab provides startups with the resources to grow and succeed.

🔸Global EntrePrep Incubator 2025
Hosted by VinUni Entrepreneurship Lab and BLOCK71 Vietnam, and supported by a dynamic network of global and local partners, the Global EntrePrep Incubator 2025 (GE25) is a three-month pre-accelerator crafted for early-stage startups that have already demonstrated promising traction, whether through revenue, active users, or early signs of product–market fit.
Beyond sharpening core business fundamentals, GE25 equips founders with the guidance, resources, and ecosystem connections needed to turn early momentum into sustainable growth:

Sales Growth & Revenue Acceleration: A focused 3-month hybrid program that helps startups strengthen business fundamentals, improve financial strategies, and accelerate market expansion.

Early-Stage VC Supervision: Bi-weekly check-ins with investors provide direct guidance to refine your pitch, traction story, and fundraising readiness.
•
Industry Mentorship: Monthly sessions with experienced entrepreneurs and domain experts offer personalized insights for product, sales, and operational improvement.

Extensive Networking Opportunities: Multiple offline events in Hanoi and HCMC connect startups with investors, partners, and potential customers.
•
Access to a $2M Funding Pool: Exceptional teams gain investment opportunities from VinVentures, Ansible Ventures, BK Fund, Quest Ventures, and Capital JDI.

Exclusive Support for VinUni Teams: Startups with 2+ VinUnians receive up to USD 2,000 in onboarding seed funding and up to USD 10,000 in post-program support.

Dedicated Growth Companions: Startup Buddies from the VinUni Entrepreneurship Lab and partner organizations provide hands-on support throughout the journey.

With the belief that young founders have the power to create meaningful impact, GE25 focuses on empowering talented entrepreneurs under 30 who:

Offer standout tech-driven solutions in impactful sectors that contribute to positive social change.

Have validated business models with proven traction (e.g., revenue, active users, or partnerships).
•
Demonstrate sales performance or present a clear sales plan during the program.
•
Possess concrete plans to scale within the year.

The Global EntrePrep Incubator 2025 follows a clear, milestone-based roadmap that guides startups from selection through final investor presentations.

Application & Selection (July): Applications close with interviews for shortlisted teams. Selected startups prepare for the 3-month program ahead.

Program Kickoff (September 16): An online orientation introduces founders to the program framework, VC supervisors, and key expectations.

Networking Rounds (Late Sept – Nov): Three offline networking events take place separately in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, giving teams repeated opportunities to meet investors, partners, and peers.

Investment Committee Review (November 29): The top 15 teams pitch to program VCs for strategic feedback and refinement before Demo Day.

Demo Day (December 5 – HCMC): The top 9 finalists present to investors at a large-scale event, with flight sponsorship available for teams traveling from Hanoi.
2. Event Recap
GE25 Innovation Demo Day & Industry Networking marks the grand finale of the Global EntrePrep Incubator 2025—an afternoon dedicated to celebrating innovation, progress, and the resilience of this year’s standout founders. The event gathers investors, industry leaders, corporate partners, and ecosystem builders for high-energy pitches, meaningful insights, and valuable networking. Startups take the stage to showcase their solutions, present real traction, and demonstrate how GE25 has accelerated their path toward impact. More than a celebration, the event acts as a launchpad for future investment and collaboration.

🔸Event Opening
The event opened with welcoming remarks from two key ecosystem leaders—Edward Lim, Country Manager of BLOCK71 Vietnam, and Ms. Alex Nguyen, Director of VinUniversity Entrepreneurship Lab. Together, they set the tone for an afternoon focused on innovation, collaboration, and the next generation of founders.
Edward Lim highlighted BLOCK71's mission to create a strong bridge between Vietnam and the global innovation landscape. He spoke about the importance of nurturing early-stage founders and the role that cross-border support networks play in helping startups scale beyond their home markets.
Ms. Alex Nguyen followed with an introduction to VinUniversity’s commitment to cultivating entrepreneurial thinking among students and young founders. She emphasized how VinUni ELab empowers emerging entrepreneurs through hands-on programs, mentorship, and a learning environment that encourages experimentation and real-world problem solving.

The pitching sessions brought together GE25's standout founders as they presented their solutions, business traction, and growth vision. Each pitch was followed by expert feedback from investors and industry leaders, offering practical guidance on product strategy, market fit, and scaling potential.

MeddiesAI — Clinical AI assistant that helps healthcare practitioners access trusted information for faster, more accurate decision-making.

CaseSurf — "Canva" for faceless affiliate viral formulas. CaseSurf lets faceless affiliates deconstruct, save, and reuse viral video formulas—ending the painful content treadmill for good.

Electroverse — A pioneering EdTech startup offering electronic kits with clear guides tailored to Vietnamese students' learning needs.
•
Selfomy — An AI-powered teaching and learning platform for IELTS/TOEIC/SAT centers that boosts instructional effectiveness and reduces operational costs.
•
ProgressLab — An AI infrastructure layer that helps English centers personalize teaching, streamline workflows, and improve student outcomes.
•
Seesaw Vietnam — Creates positive psychology-driven spaces that empower Gen Z to explore self-awareness and build meaningful emotional connections.

Ecombox — A technology solution helping online sellers on Shopee, TikTok Shop, and Lazada optimize packaging and logistics processes.
•
Aladin — Enables rural mom-and-pop shops to order small FMCG batches via group buying with next-day delivery, modernizing the entire restocking process.
Across all sessions, investors and experts provided thoughtful, actionable feedback—challenging assumptions, refining go-to-market strategies, and offering pathways to strengthen product-market fit. These discussions added depth to each pitch and reinforced the event’s mission: helping founders sharpen their vision while forging connections that can elevate their future growth.
🔸Networking & Industry Connections
The event concluded with an open networking session, giving founders, investors, and industry leaders the chance to engage in deeper, more meaningful conversations. Startups expanded on their pitches, discussed product challenges, and explored potential collaborations directly with VCs, corporate partners, and ecosystem builders.
For investors, this was an opportunity to evaluate teams beyond the stage—diving into traction metrics, business models, and upcoming milestones. For founders, it created a rare space to ask targeted questions, receive candid advice, and build relationships that could support future fundraising or partnerships.
The atmosphere was energetic and collaborative, reflecting the spirit of the GE25 program: connecting ambitious young innovators with the people and resources that can accelerate their growth long after Demo Day.
