Following the insightful tour, a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony was held, marking a pivotal step in fostering international collaboration. This comprehensive agreement was signed by INCHEON City, ICCEI, 5 Korean Teams, and Sunway iLabs, a key strategic partner in Malaysia. The collective aim of this partnership is to foster startups, explore pilot projects and market validation, support local commercialization, and enhance global expansion through sustainable cooperation between the two nations. 드디어 👏🏻 우여곡절 끝에 인벤션덱 AI를 공개하게 되었습니다. 처음에는 "우리는 이런 서비스를 만드려고 해요"라고 간단히 보여주는 용도로 시작했지만, 어느새 실제로 사용가능한 AI 기반 비즈니스 아이데이션 솔루션으로 개발을 완료했습니다! 초기 스타트업에게도 사용할 수 있어요 가장 먼저 문화창업플래너 프로그램에서 인벤션덱AI를 실전 투입💪🏻 해보았습니다. 많은 사람들에게 처음 선보이는 것이라 솔직히 조금 떨렸지만 다행히 반응이 긍정적이었습니다. 교육을 시작했을 때 아무것도 없는 상태에서 각자 다른 방식으로 사업 아이디어를 구상하던 참가자들에게 '카드 조합 → 아이디어 생성 → 비즈니스 템플릿 작성'이라는 명확한 흐름이 생겼기 때문입니다. 카드를 조합해 아이디어를 만들고 템플릿으로 구체화하는 흐름 덕분에 참여자들이 각자 다른 방향으로 흩어지지 않고 동일한 프로세스 내에서 아이디어를 정리할 수 있었습니다. 기존에는 교육이 진행될 때 참여자마다 아이디어 방향도 다르고 퀄리티도 들쭉날쭉해서 함께 논의하고 피드백을 주고받기 어려웠는데요, 카드 기반의 구조화된 프로세스를 활용하자 서로의 아이디어를 비교하거나 코멘트하기 훨씬 수월해졌고 진행하시는 대표님 입장에서도 리뷰 포인트를 명확히 잡을 수 있었다는 피드백도 받았습니다. 대•중견기업도 사용할 수 있어요 이후에는 인벤션덱AI를 저희가 운영 중인 신사업 발굴/기획, 교육, 컨설팅 프로그램에 본격적으로 적용했습니다. 이번에는 아이디어 생성에 그치지 않고 나아가 사업계획서 작성, IR Deck 초안 작성 기능까지 확장해 사업화 전 단계의 흐름을 모두 포함할 수 있도록 설계했습니다. 특히 이 구조는 아이디어를 냈다면 결국 '보고 가능한 산출물'까지 발전시켜야만 하는 여러 조직의 특성에 맞게 고안되었습니다. MVP를 만들고나니 금세 또 다른 고민이 생겼습니다. 🤔 '누가 이 서비스를 사용하고 있는지, 어떤 카드를 조합하는지, 어떤 아이디어를 만들고 있는지'를 알 수 있어야 진짜 서비스다운 서비스 운영이 가능하다고 생각했기 때문이죠. 그래서 저희는 회원가입 기능을 추가하기로 마음 먹었습니다. 🔒 회원가입 서비스도 너무 많아서.. 다양한 서비스를 찾다가 Firebase에서 제공하는 회원가입 기능을 발견했습니다. 저희 서비스의 기반이 되는 Google에서 제공하는 서비스이고 글로벌하게 사용되는 만큼 안전성이 보장되기 때문에 우리가 찾던 서비스라고 생각했습니다. 하지만 실제로 적용하려고 하니 생각보다 초기 세팅이 복잡했고 프론트엔드와 백엔드를 이해해야 하는 부분이 부담되었습니다. (진짜 개발자가 아니어서…) 무엇보다 빠르게 기능을 고도화 해야 하는 상황에서 다소 과한 기능이 많다고 느껴졌습니다. 다음으로는 한 스타트업 대표님께 추천받은 인증 솔루션인 Clerk을 확인해보았습니다. UI가 직관적이고 설정도 간편해 사용하기에 좋아보였지만 MVP 수준에서 사용하기엔 다소 무겁게 느껴졌습니다. 기능이 워낙 잘 갖춰져 있다 보니 오히려 저희처럼 단순한 인증만 필요한 초기 단계 팀에는 과도한 설정과 리소스 소모로 이어질 수 있겠다는 판단이 들었습니다. 그 다음 발견한 Supabase는 Firebase에 비해 훨씬 간단하고 직관적이었습니다. 데이터베이스, 인증, 스토리지를 한 번에 제공해주었고 SQL 기반이라 테이블을 손쉽게 다룰 수 있었습니다. 조금 사용하다보니 저희같은 비개발자도 쉽게 사할 수 있어 최종적으로 회원가입은 Supabase를 활용하기로 결정했습니다 👏🏻 😞 무한 시행착오 그런데 기능을 하나씩 추가하면서 예상치 못한 어려움이 생기기 시작했습니다. 회원 정보를 담은 테이블을 만들고 '찜한 카드 목록', '저장한 아이디어'와 같은 다른 테이블들과 연결하는 과정에서 오류가 연달아 발생했습니다. Supabase에서 제공하는 관계형 데이터 구조가 처음에는 굉장히 직관적이고 간편하게 느껴졌지만 실제로 관계를 설정하는 과정이 결코 간단하지 않았습니다. 복잡한 관계형 DB (출처 : https://taesang-jo.blogspot.com/2017/09/11.html) 특히 외래 키를 통해 연결된 테이블 간의 권한을 설정하다 보니 자연스럽게 RLS(Row Level Security)라는 개념을 마주하게 되었는데요, RLS는 간단히 말해 '누가 어떤 데이터를 다룰 수 있는지'를 조절하는 보안 정책입니다. 처음 이 개념을 접했을 때 굉장히 혼란스러웠는데요, 조건을 하나라도 잘못 걸면 데이터가 전부 노출되거나 아예 나오지 않기도 했습니다. RLS(Row Level Security) : 오픈 소스 PostgreSQL DB에서 제공하는 보안 기능으로 데이터베이스 관리자는 특정 데이터 행에 대해 하나 이상의 역할이 표시되고 작동하는 방식을 제어하는 정책을 정의하는 것으로 select, insert, update, delete와 같은 특정 명령을 포함하여 테이블의 행 수준에서 세분화된 액세스 제어를 구현할 수 있는 기능.

‼️ 그리고 마침내 Google AI Studio 발견 Lovable, Firebase, App script 등 여러가지 툴로 MVP로 구현하면서 번번이 한계에 부딪히던 중, 어느 날 대표님께서 “구글에서 이런 게 나왔더라” 하시며 Google AI Studio의 URL을 보내주셨습니다. Gemini를 채팅 UI로 구현해둔 모습이어서 처음에는 구글에서 출시한 웹버전 ChatGPT 기능 정도라 생각했습니다. 그런데 조금 더 살펴보다가 사이드바에서 새로운 메뉴를 발견했습니다. 바로 Build라는 카테고리였습니다. "Build apps with Gemini" 말 그대로 Gemini와 함께 앱을 만들 수 있는 서비스였습니다. 처음에는 Lovable과 크게 다르지 않다고 생각했습니다. 바이브 코딩으로 AI에게 원하는 것을 명령하고 결과물을 빠르게 뽑아내는 것 자체는 비슷했기 때문입니다. 그런데 조금 더 만져보니 확실히 다르다는 것을 느꼈습니다. 코드 작성 중인 Google AI Studio 가장 먼저 감탄이 나온 건 구글 스프레드시트 연동이었습니다. 스프레드시트 ID를 주면서 "스프레드시트 연동시키고 카드 형태로 보여줘."라고 명령했을 뿐인데 스프레드시트 내의 시트를 기준으로 카테고리별 탭까지 나눠서 카드 형태 UI를 뚝딱 만들어주었습니다. 거기에 "자동으로 아이디어 생성하는 기능 만들어줘"라고 명령했더니 Gemini 연동과 프롬프트 작성까지 알아서 작성해주었습니다. MVP를 개발하는데 직접 코드를 작성하거나 복잡한 설정을 할 필요가 없었고 기본적으로 Gemini가 만들어주는 UI/UX 요소들이 깔끔하고 직관적이라 디자인까지 크게 고민하지 않아도 돼서 무척이나 마음에 들었습니다. 그리고 마지막으로.. 우리 모두의 마음을 사로잡은 결정타는 바로 "무료"라는 점이었습니다. 대부분의 유사 서비스들은 매월 유료로 일정 Credit를 부여받고 사용할 수 있는데, 수정해야 하는 크고 작은 오류들을 감당하기에 부담이 되는 것은 사실이었습니다. 디테일한 부분까지 수정하고 개발 하기 위해 매우 많은 credit을 소모할 수 밖에 없을 것이라 예상되었습니다. 게다가 credit을 소진하여 질문하고 개발한다고 해서 내가 원하는 결과물이 나오리라는 보장이 없었습니다. 계속되는 잦은 오류로 credit만 무의미하게 소진할 수 있었죠. 그런데 무료로 쓸 수 있다니? 내가 원하는 만큼 계속 물어보면서 수정할 수 있다고? 러버블이나 다른 툴들에서 아쉽게 느껴졌던 점들이 Google AI Studio에서 하나씩 해소되면서 팀 안에서는 자연스럽게 같은 생각을 떠올렸습니다.

💢 정리되지 않은 정보는 방해만 될뿐! 기존의 인벤션덱과 마찬가지로 인벤션덱AI의 가장 중요한 자산은 바로 "카드 콘텐츠"였습니다. 인벤션덱은 산업, 타겟, 트렌드, 기술, 수익모델 등 비즈니스 아이디어 도출을 위해 도움이 되는 콘텐츠 카드를 제공합니다. 사용자는 이 콘텐츠 카드들을 활용하여 새로운 아이디어를 빠르게 만들어낼 수 있습니다. 아이디어는 결국 이 카드들을 어떻게 조합하느냐에서 시작되기 때문에 카드가 얼마나 다양하고 잘 정리되어 있느냐가 아이디어의 퀄리티를 좌우합니다. 카드 한 장에는 한 줄 요약, 상세 설명, 그리고 실제 기업/서비스 사례 세 가지가 들어가야 했는데 간단해보이지만 막상 수작업으로 만들려고 하면 쉬운 일이 아니였습니다. 처음에는 이 작업을 전부 직원들이 직접 맡아 진행했습니다. 매일 키워드 몇 개씩 서치하고 관련 자료를 찾아 요약하고 구체적인 사례까지 정리해야 했습니다. 그런데 시간이 지날수록 한계가 보였습니다. 작성하는 사람마다 글의 톤이 달라 어떤 카드는 길고 자세하게 작성되어 있고, 어떤 카드는 간단하게 핵심만 작성되어 있었습니다. 내용이 중복되는 경우도 많았습니다. 분류 기준도 들쭉날쭉하다 보니, 같은 주제인데 서로 다른 카테고리에 들어가는 일도 있었습니다. 가장 큰 문제점은 다양한 업무로 인해 카드 콘텐츠를 꾸준히 업데이트하기 쉽지 않다는 것이었습니다. 결국 팀 내부에서는 카드 콘텐츠도 "일정한 기준을 가지고 꾸준하게 생성되어야 할 것 같다"라는 공감대가 생겼습니다. 🤖 그래서 시작한 자동화 그래서 카드 콘텐츠 작성도 '자동화' 해보기로 결정했습니다. 사람이 아니라 AI라면 일정한 기준을 가지고 데이터를 생성해줄 것이라 생각했기 때문입니다. 저희는 내부의 반복 업무를 자동화하기 위해 코드 없이 다양한 앱을 연결해서 워크플로우를 자동화할 수 있는 n8n을 활용해 이미 다양한 테스트를 시도하고 있었습니다. 이번 카드 콘텐츠 생성 자동화 역시 n8n을 활용한다면 훨씬 효율적일 것이라 생각했고 바로 실행에 옮겼습니다. 그렇게 n8n과 OpenAI, Naver API, Tavily API를 붙여 워크플로우를 만들었습니다. 키워드가 인풋으로 들어가면 AI가 한 줄 요약, 상세 설명, 사례 세 가지를 JSON 형태로 출력하도록 설계했습니다. 처음 결과물이 나왔을 때는 정말 놀라웠습니다. 약 1,000개의 키워드에 대한 콘텐츠를 만들기 위해 불과 10분 정도의 시간밖에 걸리지 않았기 때문입니다. 다만 허점도 있었습니다. 사례가 전혀 동떨어진 내용일 때도 있었고, 잘못된 설명을 작성하는 경우도 있었습니다. 결국 마지막 단계에서 사람이 검수하는 과정이 필수적으로 들어가야했습니다. 그래도 직접 자료를 다 찾아서 작성하는 것과 비교하면 훨씬 효율적이고, AI가 기본 틀을 잡아주고 사람이 다듬기만 하면 되는 구조가 만들어진 것만으로도 업무 시간을 크게 줄일 수 있었습니다. 😭 그러나 또 다른 문제, AI에게는 없는 '감각'

🧑🏻‍💻 처음에는 당연히 외주 개발! 솔직히 처음부터 우리가 직접 개발할 것이라고는 전혀 생각하지 않았습니다. 전에도 그랬다시피 우선은 "기획은 우리가 하고, 개발은 외주에 맡기자!" 였습니다. 실제로 외주 개발사와 미팅까지 진행했습니다. 최대한 상세하게 기획안을 작성하고 이런 기능을 원한다, 이런 흐름으로 만들어 달라 이야기를 주고 받다 보니 생각했던 것보다 빠르게 그림이 그려지는 것 같았습니다. 그러나 외주 개발사와 진행하지 못하게 되면서 문제가 발생했고 프로젝트는 잠정 중단되었습니다. 🐥 그래서 직접 찾아나섰습니다 사내벤처, 신사업 기획 프로젝트를 진행할 때마다 항상 팀들에게 하던 말이 문득 떠올랐습니다. "고객에게 어떻게 제품, 서비스가 돌아가는지 보여주세요" "PPT말고 최소한 MVP로라도 만드세요" 그동안 팀들에게 강조했던 이 말을, 이제는 우리가 직접 지켜야할 순간이 왔다고 생각했습니다. "그래, 우리도 한 번 해보자!"라는 마음이 자연스럽게 들었고 바로 툴을 찾아보기 시작했습니다. 그렇게 찾은 것이 러버블(lovable.dev)이었습니다. 세상에는 코딩을 몰라도 쓸 수 있다는 툴들이 쏟아져 나오고 있었습니다. 그 중 하나가 바로 러버블이었습니다. "AI와 대화하면서 웹 페이지를 만들 수 있다!" 라는 문구에 혹해 사용해보게되었는데 실제로 써보니 놀라웠습니다. 텍스트 몇 줄만 쳐도 화면이 금방 만들어졌습니다.

🌫️ 시작은 아주 가벼운말에서부터 산업 전반에서 AI가 차지하는 자리가 점점 커지는 모습을 바라보면서 우리도 더이상 지켜보고만 있을 수는 없겠다는 생각이 들었습니다. "우리 회사에도 AI로 해결할 수 있는 문제가 있지 않을까?"하는 문제 의식이 생긴거죠. 그래서 사내에서 반복되는 업무들을 시작으로 n8n을 활용한 AI Agent 자동화 실험을 시작했습니다. 여러가지 툴을 붙이며 가능성을 찾아보고 있는 단계에서 예상보다 꽤 많은 부분이 자동화될 수 있다는 것을 느꼈습니다. 자연스럽게 다른 영역에도 적용해볼 수 있지 않을까 라는 생각으로 확장됐고, 점점 더 깊게 공부하고 파고들게 되었습니다. 그런데 그때 옆에서 누군가가 말했습니다. 👤 : "그거... 인벤션덱에도 붙일 수 있는거 아니야?" 저희 팀은 바로 웃어버렸습니다. 👥 : "개발자도 없는데 그걸 우리가 어떻게 만들어요...." 그런데 이상하게도 모두가 진짜 할 수 있지 않나? 라는 생각을 하기 시작했습니다. 요즘 바이브코딩이 대세이고 우리도 몇 가지 툴을 활용해서 이런저런 실험을 하고 있었기 때문입니다. 우리가 가진 데이터와 아이디어를 구체화하는 힘, 그리고 다뤄보고 있는 툴만 잘 연결한다면 정말 "작동하는 서비스" 하나 쯤은 만들 수 있지 않을까? 생각은 빠르게 실험으로 이어졌고, 그렇게 프로젝트가 시작하게 되었습니다. 🪜 인벤션덱이 뭐길래? 그리고 우리가 마주했던 한계 인벤션덱(InventionDeck)은 원래 스타트업이나 대기업의 신사업 담당자들이 아이디어를 빠르게 만들어낼 수 있도록 설계한 카드 기반의 아이데이션 도구입니다. 다양한 산업, 타겟, 수익모델, 트렌드, 테크 등의 정보를 카드 형태로 보여주고, 사용자가 이 카드를 조합해서 새로운 비즈니스 아이디어로 만들 수 있었죠. 인벤션덱의 초기 버전은 2020년 외주 개발로 만들어졌습니다. 아이디어 자체는 충분히 의미 있었고, 실제로 많은 사람들이 워크샵이나 교육 때 이 도구를 활용해 다양한 비즈니스 아이디어를 도출해내며 성과를 내기도 했습니다. 하지만 흐르면서 몇 가지 운영상의 뚜렷한 한계가 보이기 시작했습니다.

Notable moments & takeaways 📩 Mr. David Kim kicked off VKSEN 2025 with vision and optimism CEO David Kim of The Invention Lab delivered a welcoming speech, beginning with an acknowledgment of the organic, casual energy in the room, noting that many attendees were already exchanging business cards and networking even before the event officially began. He emphasized the importance of active participation and mutual support in such gatherings. Mr. Kim also provided a candid view of the Korean investment climate, describing the past three years as extremely challenging, with the venture environment effectively shattered. However, he noted that the tide is turning: new funds are forming, dry powder is being activated, and there is a positive shift in sentiment across Korea’s VC ecosystem. Furthermore, he emphasized Korea's increasing interest in Vietnam. Looking ahead, he described 2025–2026 as pivotal years for Vietnam-bound investment, particularly for Korean startups entering the market, as well as in sectors such as AI-related technologies, F&B, and distribution, which are seeing heightened investor attention.

1. 국내 장기 체류 외국인 현황 2024년 한국의 총 인구는 5,121만 명으로, 2020년의 5,182만 명에 비해 소폭 감소하며 인구 정체기에 접어들었습니다. 이는 고령화의 가속과 지속적인 저출산이라는 구조적 인구 문제의 결과이며, 중장기적으로는 내국인 중심 소비 시장에 한계가 도래하고 있음을 시사합니다. 이와 대조적으로, 같은 기간 외국인 체류 인구는 2021년 약 196만 명에서 2024년 265만 명으로 35.4% 증가하며 뚜렷한 증가세를 보이고 있습니다. 이러한 변화는 외국인이 단순히 일시적 방문객이나 보조적 노동력이 아닌, 한국 사회를 구성하는 지속적인 생활자이자 소비 주체로 떠오르고 있음을 나타냅니다. 실제로 전체 인구 대비 외국인이 1% 정도 늘어났을 때, 국내 노동시장의 생산성이 1% 정도 증가하는 것으로 추산하고 있습니다. 체류 유형별(비자)로도 외국인 구성의 구조적인 변화가 감지됩니다. 유학생, 전문인력, 비전문인력 등 주요 체류 목적별 집단에서 모두 외국인 수가 증가하였으며, 특히 단기 체류보다 장기 체류 목적의 비자 보유자 비중이 뚜렷하게 확대되고 있습니다. 2023년 대비 2024년 기준으로 유학생(D2)은 17.3% 증가하며 가장 큰 폭의 성장을 보였고, 영주권자(F5)는 9.5%, 비전문취업(E9)은 8.5% 증가했습니다. 이러한 추세로 보아 외국인의 체류 목적이 단기 방문 중심에서 점차 중장기 체류와 정착 중심으로 전환되고 있음을 알 수 있습니다. 더불어, 전체 외국인 중 90.4%가 ‘대한민국에 계속 체류하기를 희망한다’고 응답하는 조사 결과가 나오며 외국인들이 한국 사회 내의 지속가능한 거주자로 자리매김하고자 하는 흐름이 보이고 있습니다. 국적별 외국인 구성 또한 다변화되고 있습니다. 2024년 기준으로 총 205개국의 외국인이 대한민국에 체류 중이며, 이 중 중국, 베트남, 태국, 미국 등 일부 국가 출신의 비중이 상대적으로 높은 것으로 확인됩니다. 전체적으로는 아시아권 출신이 절대적으로 많은 것이 특징이며, 비전문인력, 전문인력, 유학생 등의 세그먼트에 따라 국적 분포의 경향도 뚜렷하게 나타납니다. 예를 들어, 비전문인력의 경우 베트남, 태국, 인도네시아, 우즈베키스탄 등 동남아시아 및 중앙아시아권 출신이 중심을 이루는 반면, 전문인력은 미국, 유럽 등 서구권 국적자의 비중이 높습니다. 이러한 구성은 각국의 경제 수준, 비자 제도, 노동 및 유학 관련 정책적 요인과 밀접하게 연결되어 있는 것으로 확인되었습니다. 이러한 변화는 국내 산업 전반에 새로운 기회를 가져올 수 있습니다. 외국인 고객은 언어와 문화적 장벽, 제도 이해도의 격차, 정보 접근성 등의 문제를 겪고 있으며, 국적과 체류 목적에 따라 소비 성향과 서비스 기대 수준이 뚜렷하게 구분되는 이질적 소비자 집단입니다. 최근, 이러한 특수성을 타겟으로 한 외국인 대상 특화 서비스를 제공하는 스타트업들이 다수 등장하고 있습니다. 외국인 고객은 일반 내국인과 동일한 방식으로 접근해서는 안되며, 보다 정교하고 차별화된 고객 경험 설계가 요구되는 전략적 타겟군으로 분류할 수 있습니다. 2. 주요 외국인 고객 세그먼트 정의 국내에 체류 중인 외국인 고객을 이해하고 효과적으로 대응하기 위해서는 체류 목적과 비자 유형에 따른 세그먼트 분석이 필수적입니다. 외국인 고객군을 네 가지로 구분하고, 각 세그먼트가 갖는 생활 특성과 서비스 수요를 개괄하고자 합니다. 분류 비자 세그먼트 1 유학생 유학생(D2) 세그먼트 2 전문인력 교수(E1) + 회화직업(E2) + 전문직업(E7)
