Welcome to Sudoku Calm (the "App"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you and the developer and operator of Sudoku Calm ("we," "us," or "our") regarding your download, installation, access to, and use of the App.

Please read these Terms carefully before using the App. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must stop using the App immediately.

1. Scope

These Terms apply to your access to and use of the App and its related features and services, including without limitation Sudoku gameplay, resuming unfinished games, hints, in-game settings, ratings, sharing, feedback, in-app purchases, and purchase restoration.

The specific features, interfaces, and services available through the App may vary by version and are subject to what is actually provided in the App at the time of use.

If you download or purchase the App through the Apple App Store, your use of the App is also subject to Apple's applicable terms, usage rules, and platform policies.

2. Services

The App is a utility-style Sudoku application designed to provide a calm and classic puzzle-playing experience, together with related support features.

We may update, modify, optimize, suspend, or discontinue certain features, interfaces, text, availability, or service methods of the App from time to time for operational, legal, compliance, or user experience reasons.

We will make reasonable efforts to keep the App stable and available, but we do not guarantee that the App will always be uninterrupted, error-free, delay-free, or fully meet all of your expectations.

Unless otherwise expressly stated in the App, the App currently relies primarily on local device storage for certain data. We do not guarantee cross-device sync, cloud backup, or permanent retention of your game progress, preferences, or records. We are not responsible for loss of such data caused by uninstalling the App, clearing local data, changing devices, system restrictions, device damage, or other causes not resulting from our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

3. Eligibility and Basic Requirements

You must have the legal capacity required under applicable law to enter into and comply with these Terms.

If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the consent, guidance, and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Your parent or guardian is responsible for supervising your use of the App and any related purchases.

You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining the devices, operating systems, network access, and any related costs necessary to use the App.

4. Free Features, Paid Features, and In-App Purchases

The App uses a "free download + optional in-app purchase" model. Unless otherwise clearly stated in the App, core Sudoku gameplay and the essential gameplay required to complete a standard puzzle are available to all users.

Certain enhanced features, additional benefits, or upgraded experiences may be available only to users who purchase Pro or other paid entitlements. The specific benefits, prices, descriptions, and availability of such entitlements are determined by the purchase page and the App Store listing in effect at the time.

In-app purchases are generally processed through Apple's in-app purchase system. You understand and agree that:

payment, billing, taxes, settlement, and refund rules are governed by Apple and the terms applicable to your selected payment method;

you are responsible for ensuring that any purchase you make is lawful, authorized, and valid;

if you have lawfully purchased a restorable non-consumable entitlement, you may use the App's "Restore Purchases" or similar feature to attempt restoration, but the result depends on Apple's valid transaction records.

To the extent required by applicable law and platform rules, if you obtained the App through the Apple App Store and the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price you paid, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation with respect to the App, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to a warranty remain our responsibility as required by law.

We may change the names, prices, display methods, or composition of paid features from time to time in response to product strategy, market conditions, exchange rates, taxes, regional policies, or platform requirements, but such changes will not invalidate entitlements you have already lawfully obtained and that remain in effect.

5. License to Use the App

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, non-exclusive license to download, install, and use the App on compatible devices that you own or control.

Except for the limited license expressly granted above, all rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by us or our licensors.

6. Acceptable Use

While using the App, you must not:

violate any applicable law, regulation, public policy, or the legitimate rights of others;

interfere with, disrupt, attack, damage, or otherwise impair the normal operation of the App;

reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, crack, tamper with, mirror, intercept, or attempt to derive the source code of the App;

use bots, scripts, automation tools, exploits, or any abnormal technical means to abuse, test, bypass, or overload the App's intended functionality or restrictions;

remove, obscure, or alter any intellectual property notice, proprietary notice, or legal notice contained in the App;

impersonate us or falsely suggest any affiliation, endorsement, partnership, agency, or authorization relationship with us;

engage in any other conduct that harms us, other users, Apple, or any third party.

If you violate these Terms, we may, depending on the circumstances, issue a warning, restrict functionality, suspend or terminate access, refuse further support, and pursue any remedies available under applicable law.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and all related elements, including without limitation interface design, layout, graphics, icons, text, sound effects, software code, puzzle catalog arrangement, documents, and other content, are owned by us or our relevant licensors, except as otherwise provided by law.

Without our prior written consent or the prior written consent of the relevant rights holder, you may not copy, modify, distribute, publish, display, perform, rent, sell, transfer, or commercially exploit any of the foregoing content in any manner.

Your use of the App does not transfer or assign to you any ownership or intellectual property rights, except for the limited right to use the App in accordance with these Terms.

8. Changes, Suspension, and Termination of Services

To maintain service security, conduct maintenance, release updates, troubleshoot issues, or comply with regulatory requirements, we may suspend, interrupt, or terminate part or all of the App's functionality within a reasonable scope.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for inability to use the App caused by force majeure, network failures, third-party platform issues, device compatibility problems, system restrictions, malware, hacking, or other circumstances not caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

If you violate these Terms, or if we are required by law to do so, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to part or all of the App at any time.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no express or implied warranties regarding merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, continued availability, freedom from viruses, or error-free operation.

Hints, explanations, statistics, records, recommendations, and other assistance provided by the App are offered for general gameplay and reference purposes only and do not constitute professional advice, guaranteed outcomes, or absolute correctness.

We are not liable for losses caused by your own acts or omissions, including without limitation misuse, device loss, system deletion, local data corruption, jailbreaking, use of unofficial versions, failure to update, or improper management of payment tools or account access.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.

If certain exclusions or limitations are not permitted under applicable law, the above exclusions and limitations will apply only to the maximum extent allowed by such law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time in response to changes in law, regulation, product updates, or operational needs.

Updated Terms may be made available through the App, the settings page, an official website, or another reasonable channel, and will become effective upon publication or on the date specified in the updated version.

Your continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective means that you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, will be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, provided that mandatory laws of your place of residence that cannot be waived will remain applicable where required.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms should first be resolved through friendly consultation. If consultation fails, either party may bring the dispute before a court of competent jurisdiction.
