Have you ever had a website admin change and needed to transfer the ownership of a website?

You can transfer ownership of your site to a member in just a few clicks.

2 Ways to transfer ownership

1.
Site permissions only
Selecting "Site Permissions Only" changes your role to a member with "Can post/comment" permissions and transfers ownership of the site to the member you select. In this case, only the owner of the site changes.
2.
Including your activities
Selecting "Including your activities" transfers not only the site ownership but also the writer of posts, comments, reactions and direct messages from the current owner to the new member.
Example: When A (the site owner) transfers ownership to B (a member), if A selects "Including Your Activities," all posts, direct messages, comments, and reactions created by A within the site will be reassigned to B after the transfer.
➕
The person taking over ownership must accept the request in the notifications menu to complete the ownership transfer.

What's the difference between owners and administrators?

Site owners can manage site settings such as Share to search engine option (SEO), duplication permissions, and site name. Administrators can modify visibility settings and manage internal activities, including members, subscribers, and posts published on the site.
Thanks to @realworld for suggesting the ownership transfer feature! 👏
