JC-D7 [Catalog # P035]

■ Chemical structure & Information
JC-D7/ JC-D8 demonstrate high selectivity for the labeling of polyP that was not sensitive to a number of ubiquitous organic polyphosphates, notably RNA. Use of these probes allowed us to demonstrate the real time detection of polyP release from lysosomes in live cells.
■ Cell Image
Overexpression of mitochondrially targeted, GFP-labeled polyphosphate kinase (mgPPK) results in increased level of JC-D7 fluorescence. (A, inset) Colocalization profile estimated from fluorescence intensity measured along the arrow, shows that areas with increased levels of mtPPK expression correspond to areas with increased levels of endogenous polyphosphate.
■ Known Property
Poly phosphate probe
■
Application
Live imaging, Immunofluorescence

■
General Use Guide
•
More than 1/100 dilution of 10mM of DMSO stock solution is essential
•
For biomedical use to avoid DMSO concentration higher than 1%.
•
Working concentrations for specific applications should be determined by the investigator.
•
It is recommended to use up the buffer diluted solution within one day. The compound may be decomposed or
precipitated out from buffer solution.
