데이터와 사람의 맥락을 함께 이해하는 일을 해왔습니다.
산업공학을 전공하며 데이터와 시스템, 사람의 의사결정에 대해 공부했고, 이후 글로벌 컨설팅 펌과 스타트업을 오가며 전략 수립, 신사업 개발, 턴어라운드, 데이터 기반 경영관리 업무를 수행해 왔습니다.
숫자와 성과를 다루는 일을 오래 해왔지만,
그 과정에서 오히려 더 크게 느낀 것은 많은 사람들이 겉으로는 괜찮아 보인 채 감정을 혼자 견디고 있다는 사실이었습니다.
누군가에게 설명하기도 어렵고 상담까지 가기엔 애매하지만, 분명 마음은 지쳐 있는 상태.
poow는 그렇게 시작되었습니다.
사람들이 자신의 마음을 조금 더 편하게 마주할 수 있도록,
기술로 공감의 방식을 고민하고 있습니다.
I've spent my career trying to understand both data and the human context behind it.
I studied Industrial Engineering with a focus on data, systems, and decision-making, and later worked across global consulting firms and startups, leading projects in strategy, new business development, turnaround management, and data-driven operations.
For years, my work revolved around numbers and performance.
But along the way, I became increasingly aware of something else:
Many people appear perfectly fine on the outside while quietly carrying emotional struggles on their own.
Feelings that are difficult to explain, yet not serious enough to seek professional help for.
That was where poow began.
Through poow, I’m exploring how technology can help people feel a little more understood.
