Hemogry is an AI-powered recipe generation tool designed to help anyone cook more easily and naturally by converting social-media cooking videos into clear, structured recipes. In this update, we removed elements that disrupted the user experience and redesigned how Salt (our in-app AI usage unit) is used — so you always know when and why Salt is consumed. 🔎 1. Why is the Salt charging model changing? From the beginning, Hemogry was designed so users could freely convert different videos and build their own personal recipe library without pressure. That's why, in earlier versions: You could generate as many recipes as you wanted Salt was only used when opening a recipe for actual cooking → The charging point was set at the "viewing stage." However, this led to an unintended misunderstanding: Some users felt as if Hemogry was "selling recipes." But Hemogry does not sell recipes — we charge only for the AI processing required to analyze a video and generate a recipe. To remove confusion and make the flow more intuitive, we re-defined the pricing logic as follows. 🔎 2. Salt is now used only at the moment AI generates a recipe Once a recipe is generated, it is free to view forever Browsing, searching, saving, and revisiting recipes never use Salt Generated recipes can be freely shared and viewed by anyone Salt is charged only during AI analysis — nowhere else 🔎 3. All recipe blur (preview lock) has been completely removed From now on, every recipe you generate is instantly viewable in full: Step-by-step instructions Timestamps

Q1. If I accidentally share a video that I've already generated a recipe for, will Salt be used again? No. If a recipe for that video already exists in your account, Hemogry automatically loads the existing recipe instead of generating a new one. So even if you share the same video again by mistake, no additional Salt will be consumed. Q2. If recipe generation fails, is Salt automatically restored? Yes, in most cases. You get one free re-generation attempt with no additional Salt cost. If the re-generation attempt also fails, the Salt used for that attempt is automatically restored, and the content is saved as a link instead of a recipe. If you manually cancel the process (press "X") before completion, Salt is also restored, and the content is saved as a link. Q3. Will Hemogry generate recipes from videos that have no cooking purpose (mukbang, news, entertainment, etc.)? Such videos usually do not contain actual cooking processes. In these cases, the generated recipe may be empty or contain very little useful information. However, because the AI still analyzes the video, Salt is consumed according to the video length and will not be restored. Reference: Operational Policy §3-1 Q4. What about cooking scenes from animation, comics, or games? These types of content rarely contain real cooking information. Therefore, resulting recipes may be extremely simple or inaccurate. Since AI analysis is still performed, Salt will not be restored in these cases. Q5. Can real cooking videos still produce incomplete or inaccurate recipes? Yes, this can happen. Even with real cooking content, recipes may be limited or partially extracted when:

Previously, Hemogry automatically generated recipes based on your device or browser language. With this update, you have full control — choose any language you want your new recipes to be generated in! ✨ What's New Before: On mobile, recipes followed your device language. On desktop, recipes followed your browser language. Now: You can manually select your recipe generation language in the Profile tab. For example, even if your phone is set to Korean, you can now generate recipes in English. ⚠️ Please note This setting applies only to newly generated recipes. Existing recipes will remain in their original language and are not automatically translated. To view a recipe in a different language, simply regenerate it after changing your language setting. 💡 Perfect for you if... You watch cooking videos in other languages but prefer recipes in your own. You're learning a new language and want to practice with recipes.
