Can artificial intelligence be used in education?

Chatbots and artificial intelligence (AI) are drawing increasing attention in the education sector. Still, questions are being raised about whether these technologies genuinely have a positive impact on education or if they're just spouting 'nonsense.' In fact, such attempts have become much more frequent since the advent of ChatGPT. However, due to the phenomenon known as hallucination, doubts persist about whether this kind of education is simply meaningless chatter.

Language is deeply linked to our desires. As we read a sentence, the urge pulling us from word to word can be thought of as a kind of 'desire.' ChatGPT can produce conversations much like a human, which can help us better grasp the complexity of language, such as the idea of 'Papañca.'
Educational AI chatbots like ChatGPT can offer us new perspectives on language and communication, not just spout 'nonsense.' Still, we need more credible research into the actual impact such technologies will have on education. Through these studies, we can gain a more profound understanding of how AI might be used in educational settings and what it can truly teach us.
