# 1. Event Overview

## 🔸VinUni Entrepreneurship Lab

**VinUni Entrepreneurship Lab (Elab)** is the heart of the **VinUniversity **startup ecosystem, where innovation is nurtured, and entrepreneurial talent is empowered to create global impact.

Officially opened at the of the 2022-2023 academic year, **ELab** has quickly become a vibrant hub, where exciting seminars, mentoring programs, incubation programs, and competitions for VinUniversity students, as well as students nationwide, take place. Not only does it create opportunities for students to learn and work right from their first year, but **ELab** also contributes to promoting students' entrepreneurial spirit, thereby helping them gain early success out in the real world.

Hosted by **VinUni Entrepreneurship Lab** and **BLOCK71 Vietnam**, and supported by a dynamic network of global and local partners, the **Global EntrePrep Incubator 2025 (GE25)** is a three-month pre-accelerator crafted for early-stage startups that have already demonstrated promising traction, whether through revenue, active users, or early signs of product–market fit.

**The Global EntrePrep Incubator 2025** follows a clear, milestone-based roadmap that guides startups from selection through final investor presentations.

- **_Application & Selection (July):_** Applications close with interviews for shortlisted teams. Selected startups prepare for the 3-month program ahead.

- **_Program Kickoff (September 16):_** An online orientation introduces founders to the program framework, VC supervisors, and key expectations.

- **_Networking Rounds (Late Sept – Nov):_** Three offline networking events take place separately in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, giving teams repeated opportunities to meet investors, partners, and peers.

- **_Investment Committee Review (November 29):_** The top 15 teams pitch to program VCs for strategic feedback and refinement before Demo Day.

The event opened with welcoming remarks from two key ecosystem leaders—Edward Lim, Country Manager of BLOCK71 Vietnam, and Ms. Alex Nguyen, Director of VinUniversity Entrepreneurship Lab. - **Electroverse** — A pioneering EdTech startup offering electronic kits with clear guides tailored to Vietnamese students' learning needs.

- **Selfomy** — An AI-powered teaching and learning platform for IELTS/TOEIC/SAT centers that boosts instructional effectiveness and reduces operational costs.

- **ProgressLab** — An AI infrastructure layer that helps English centers personalize teaching, streamline workflows, and improve student outcomes.

- **Seesaw Vietnam** — Creates positive psychology-driven spaces that empower Gen Z to explore self-awareness and build meaningful emotional connections.
