This Privacy Policy applies to Angelounge, Inc. (“we,” “our,” “us”). Angelounge is a platform to connect content creators (“Mentors”) with their fans (“Mentees”) through personalized advice delivered in asynchronous (that is, not simultaneous two-way communication) document format (“Document Review”) or in video streaming format (“Video Call”) from Mentors. The use of “you” and “your” throughout this Privacy Policy will, depending on the context, refer to a Mentee, Mentor, or Visitor, further defined below.

Mentee: You intend to use Angelounge to ask questions of Mentors. (ex. Founders)

Mentor: You intend to use Angelounge to answer questions from Mentees. (ex. Investor Mentors)

Visitors: You are browsing our Sites.

These categories are not exclusive. For instance, a person who has signed up to be a Mentor may also ask questions of other Mentors and become the Mentee for that specific interaction. Additionally, all Mentees and Mentors are Visitors, and the sections designated for Visitors will apply to both Mentees, Mentors, and Visitors.

If you are a Mentee and you provide additional personal information to a Mentor in a Document Review or Video Call, this Privacy Policy does not apply to any of the Mentors’ practices other than those practices expressly disclosed below. Mentors are under agreement to only contact Mentees through our Services and to keep it private.

Mentees
Information You Give Us. You may give us information by signing up for an account, entering information through forms or surveys on our Sites or contacting us by phone or email for information or customer service.

Mentors

Visitors
Information We Automatically Collect. Like many website operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our website.

This includes Log Data, such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Sites that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics, and whether you reached our page via a social media or email campaign. This information may be collected via several technologies, including cookies, web beacons, clear GIFs, canvas fingerprinting and other means, such as Facebook Pixel.

Reports

Reports You are engaged in. Each report is owned by Angelounge. We are not obligated to monitor access to or use of our Services by you or third parties, but we have the right to do so in order to operate our Services, to ensure compliance with these Terms, to comply with applicable law, regulation, court order, or other legal, administrative, or regulatory request or process, or otherwise. Without limiting any of our rights, you acknowledge and agree that any request you submit for a Document Review or Video Call may be rejected by us or by a Mentor; if that happens more than once, we may block you from our Services, terminate your access, or take other appropriate action.

C. How Do We Use Personal Information?

We use your personal information as follows:

To provide you with the services on our platform, which involves facilitating communications between Mentors and Mentees

With respect to the reports, to assist with or troubleshoot technical errors

To receive payment for processing a Mentee question

To pay a Mentor any fees owed for answering a Mentee question

To market our products and/or services to you

With respect to website cookies, to share with third-party marketing partners to provide tailored advertising on our Sites and other websites that you may visit

To analyze Sites usage and improve the services offered

For market research, project planning, troubleshooting problems

For detecting and protecting against error, fraud or other criminal activity

To Mentors.

If you are a Mentee, we may share your profile and messages in the application. And the document will be shared to the Mentor with Non-downloadable formats. Mentors are under agreement to only contact Mentees through our Services and to keep it private.

To Mentees or the Public.

If you are a Mentor, we may share your profile. Any reviews from your Mentees will be posted in your profile.

D. Your Privacy Choices

Please contact us if you would like to request access and/or make any changes to your personal information.

Marketing Opt Out : We may use your personal information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in any email we send, or you can contact us using the contact details provided in the “Contact Information” section below. You will still continue to receive service-related messages concerning products and services you have purchased (unless we have indicated otherwise).
