I've created an AI prompt design practice website for K-12 teachers.
Based on Google's published Gemini prompt guidebook, I've built a practice environment specifically tailored for K-12 educational contexts. Since Gemini will be integrated into Google Workspace for Education soon, I thought it would be helpful for teachers to get familiar with it beforehand.
This site allows teachers to practice writing prompts based on real educational scenarios. Since it can be challenging at first, I've included a hint feature to help when users get stuck. When you submit your prompt, AI provides evaluation and detailed feedback. After improving based on the feedback, you can click the execute button to preview what actual results Gemini would produce.
Through continuous practice, teachers will naturally develop effective prompt writing skills. When using AI for various educational tasks like preparing lesson materials, creating student assessment questions, or developing individualized learning plans, how well you write prompts significantly affects the quality of results. This is particularly important in education, where generating accurate and appropriate content is crucial, requiring specific and clear prompt design.
