Sync your journal entries across multiple devices with cloud sync! Available from version 1.1.22 and above. Now you can automatically synchronize and store diaries written on mobile, iPad, tablets, and more. Write your diary whenever and wherever you feel comfortable. 🔗 Before the Update You had to press the "Restore" button whenever you wanted to synchronize your diary, requiring manual synchronization. 🔗 Now Things Have Changed! You only need to press the "Start Sync" button once in Settings > General > Cloud Sync menu. However, you must press the "Start Sync" button on each device you want to sync for two-way automatic synchronization to work. For privacy purposes, the default setting is "Paused," so please keep this in mind. If you have any issues during synchronization, please contact us at info@sunrise-app.com. These days, Product Hunt is dominated by B2B SaaS, AI, and workplace collaboration tools. Sunrise had to compete as a mobile B2C app focused on mental health journaling. Let me share our journey from preparation to launch day. 1. Why Did We Launch on Product Hunt? We wanted to gather feedback from diverse global users. Product Hunt stood out as the most well-known global platform for product discovery. Plus, it was completely free to promote our product, making it even more attractive. To explain Product Hunt briefly: it's a site where global products compete for rankings over a 24-hour period. An average of 30-40 products launch daily, with only the top 5 receiving "Product of the Day" badges. If you're planning to launch on Product Hunt, I'd recommend aiming for the top 5 from the start. Well-known products like Notion, Robinhood, and Zapier gained traction and word-of-mouth through such Product Hunt launches.

Hey folks 👋🏻 After experiencing burnout twice, I looked into cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Finding the right therapist, however, was costly and frustrating due to inconsistent quality and limited availability. While I eventually succeeded, many aren't as fortunate—roughly 122 million Americans still live in areas lacking sufficient mental health professionals. This challenge led me to an unexpected source of support: mobile apps. Journaling apps, in particular, offered a unique solution for managing my anxiety. They were affordable, self-reliant, private, and portable tools that were also more active and introspective than meditation apps. Despite these benefits, existing journaling apps had their limitations: they focused more on record-keeping than on my mental health. Drawing from these experiences, we developed Sunrise, a journal therapy app that goes beyond simply recording daily events. Sunrise enhances mindfulness with evidence-based journal templates, visual mental health progress tracking, and "Encouraging Feedback” for emotional support. Our mission is to provide individuals with the safest digital space to reflect, relax, and recharge on their path to better mental wellbeing.
