Privacy Policy
Article 1 (Purpose)
Far Far Away Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") to protect the personal information (hereinafter referred to as "personal information") of individuals (hereinafter referred to as "users" or "individuals") who use the Skrap service (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by the Company, and to promptly and smoothly handle complaints related to the protection of personal information of Service users in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Information and Communications Network Act"), and other related laws and regulations.
Article 2 (Principles of Personal Information Processing)
The Company may collect users' personal information in accordance with personal information-related laws and this Policy, and collected personal information may be provided to third parties only with the user's consent. However, in cases where it is legally required by regulations, etc., the Company may provide collected personal information to third parties without the user's prior consent.
Article 3 (Changes to this Policy)
This Policy may be amended in accordance with changes in personal information-related laws, guidelines, notices, or changes in policies or content of government or Company services.
In the event of amending this Policy pursuant to Paragraph 1, the Company shall notify users through one or more of the following methods:
Announcement section of the service operated by the Company or through a separate window
Notice to users via written notice, facsimile transmission, electronic mail, or similar methods
The Company shall make such notification as prescribed in Paragraph 2 at least 7 days prior to the effective date of the amended Policy.
Article 4 (Information for Membership Registration)
For user membership registration for Company services, the Company collects the following information:
Collected information: Email, date of birth, name (nickname)
Article 5 (Methods of Personal Information Collection)
The Company collects users' personal information through the following methods:
User input of personal information in the Company's service
Article 6 (Use of Personal Information)
The Company uses personal information in the following cases:
When necessary for the operation of the Company, such as delivering notices
For responding to inquiries, handling complaints, and improving services for users
For providing Company services
For developing new services
For marketing purposes such as event and promotion notifications
For demographic analysis and analysis of service visits and usage records
For preventing and sanctioning acts that hinder the smooth operation of services, including restrictions on use for members violating laws and Company terms and conditions, and preventing fraudulent activities
Article 7 (Retention and Use Period of Personal Information)
The Company retains and uses personal information for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of collecting and using personal information.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Company retains records of improper service usage for up to one year from the date of member withdrawal in accordance with internal policies to prevent improper registration and use.
Article 8 (Principles of Personal Information Disposal)
The Company shall promptly dispose of personal information when it is no longer needed for the purpose of processing personal information, expiration of the retention and use period, etc.
Article 9 (User's Obligations)
Users are responsible for maintaining their personal information up to date, and any issues arising from inaccurate information input by users are the responsibility of the users themselves.
In case of fraudulent registration using another person's personal information, users may lose their user qualification or be subject to punishment under relevant personal information protection laws.
Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their email address, password, etc., and may not transfer or lend them to third parties.
This Policy shall be effective from March 22, 2024.
