Videos are saved directly to your phone’s photo gallery. Shatter does not store or own any videos you create.
What happens if I delete a video in the app?
Deleting a video in the app will also delete it from your phone’s photo gallery.
Rearrange Clips While Editing.
If you want to change the order of your clips, simply press and hold a clip, then drag it to your desired position. The clip will move accordingly.
Where is the rendered video saved?
Rendered videos are saved to your phone’s photo gallery.

Are there any limits on video length or the number of clips?
There are no limits on video length or the number of clips, but excessively long videos or too many clips may cause the app to crash.
The camera isn’t working.
Please check your camera access permissions. If access is denied, enable camera permissions in your iPhone settings under the Shatter app.
Sound isn’t being recorded.
Check your microphone access permissions. If access is denied, enable microphone permissions in your iPhone settings under the Shatter app.
The recorded video is choppy.
On some devices, recording in 4K or with the camera stabilization feature turned off may cause frame drops. Try switching the resolution to 1080p or turning on the stabilization feature.
Videos aren’t loading from the gallery.
Please check your gallery access permissions. If access is denied, enable permissions in your iPhone settings under the Shatter app.
Can I import photos from the gallery?
Currently, only videos can be imported.
Videos aren’t saving.
Check your phone’s storage space. If your phone’s storage is full, videos may not record or save properly.
Can I connect a selfie stick?

The video length isn’t exactly 1 second.
Video lengths may vary slightly due to shutter speed:
0.5 seconds: 0.4–0.5 seconds
1 second: 1–1.4 seconds
2 seconds: 2–2.4 seconds
