**NeutropG** is a selective fluorescent probe for identifying and imaging live neutrophils, showing high specificity among granulocytes. It targets lipid droplet biosynthesis enzymes (ACSL and DGAT) following the Metabolism-Oriented Live-cell Distinction (MOLD) concept. NeutropG is fast, stable, wash-free, and biocompatible, proving effective in clinical blood samples and demonstrating potential as a diagnostic tool for metabolically active neutrophils

Fluorescence images showed the intracellular fluorescent intensity of neutrophils, eosinophils and basophils after treatment with NeutropG (0.2 μM), Nile Red (1 nM) and Hoechst (1 μg mL−1) for 1 h, 30 min and 10 min, respectively. The specific antibody for each cell type was added to cells and incubated for 30 min prior to imaging.

■ **General Use Guide**

- More than 1/100 dilution of 10mM of DMSO stock solution is essential

- For biomedical use to avoid DMSO concentration higher than 1%.

- Working concentrations for specific applications should be determined by the investigator.

- It is recommended to use up the buffer diluted solution within one day. The compound may be decomposed or
- precipitated out from buffer solution.
