CDg13 (Compound of Designation green 13) is a selective mouse neural stem cell (NSC) probe over mouse embryonic stem cell (mES), mouse embryonic fibroblast (MEF), and astrocyte. The mechanism of CDg13 for NSC selectivity was elucidated as gating-oriented live-cell distinction (GOLD) through ABCG2.
■ Cell Image
(a) Live cells were stained with 1mm CDg13 and Hoechst33342 for 1h. After brief washing in serum-free medium, fluorescence images of MEF, mESC, NS5,and differentiated NS5 (D-NS5) were taken. Scale bar: 50mm. (b) Histogram of CDg13-treated cells after flow cytometry.
