Snorkl Coach
What is Snorkl Coach?
Snorkl Coach is a chatbot that is part of the student experience on the Snorkl whiteboard. It provides extra help with real-time support when students need it most. Students can ask questions and receive personalized and relevant feedback based on the conversation with the student and the content on the whiteboard. Snorkl Coach also provides read-aloud and translation services.
Activate Snorkl Coach

After creating an activity, assign it to the appropriate class(es) and click Next.

In Activity Settings, click the toggle (1) next to Snorkl Coach to switch it from Off to On to enable it for students to use during their activities.

Once turned on, you can decide whether to allow or remove the Read Aloud and/or Translate options (2). Then click Assign (3).
Using Snorkl Coach
Students can open Snorkl Coach by clicking the star icon in the lower right corner. A chat window will open and students can translate, read the whiteboard aloud, or ask Snorkl Coach questions about the activity. Students will not be able to record screen+voice until Snorkl Coach is closed.
Reviewing Snorkl Coach
Teachers can see if a student has used Snorkl Coach by clicking on the student's attempt and checking the list icon above the feedback. Click this icon to view the chat history.
