Use Post Changes in Google Classroom
What is Publish Changes?
The Publish Changes feature allows teachers to edit a file template and have those changes reflected in student copies of already assigned Kami assignments, even if students are already working on the assignment.
Who can use Publish Changes?
This feature is available to teachers who create Kami assignments. It only applies to Kami assignments that include student copies of files, and not to non-Kami assignments, view-only files, or shared copies of files.
How to use Publish Changes
The button can be found at the top of the assignment page or in the upper right corner when previewing an assignment template file.

File Preview
The template file will open in the Kami app. After you've made your changes to the file, click the Publish Changes button when you're ready to publish those changes to your students' files.
When will students see the new changes?
After you click the Publish Changes button, all changes will be immediately applied to all students' assignment files. Students who have the assignment file open will see the changes in real time, otherwise, they will see the changes when they refresh their Kami app tab or open the assignment file the next time.
