Mizou Utilization Case Coding Edition

🎮 Empowering young coders!👩💻 A fourth grader at ISF Academy was struggling to code one of the sprites in her MakeCodeArcade project. She turned to Mizou AI's MakeCode Arcade coding assistant to independently solve the problem. Using iPad's split-screen technology, it took her just 8 minutes to solve the problem. We've condensed her process of interacting with the assistant, showing her persistence and problem-solving skills into a 1-minute video.
After four introductory lessons and a coding skill building course at the Micro:bit Educational Foundation’s makecodearcade, Year 4 students set out to create their own games based on areas of expertise they want to teach others through game-based experiences.
Even after completing a series of step-by-step tutorials, students still needed timely support to continue developing their games. As the only teacher in a class of 20 students, students had to wait in line for support after exhausting all independent and collaborative problem-solving routines and resources.
To adapt to this, I created a chatbot on Mizou AI to help students with specific coding questions. If you find yourself in a similar situation, feel free to use the bot I created.
