What is instructor approval? How are worksheets graded?

Your results are final upon instructor approval. If you want to know more about this submission status, here's a summary of everything you need to know!
Instructor Approval is a status set by the teacher, indicating that the solution has been verified and approved. Before approval, the supervising teacher can re-evaluate the automated assessment.
Instructor approval is especially important if the worksheet contains assignment types that the system cannot automatically grade. Examples of these assignment types include video recordings, essays, and creative boards, which are automatically graded by the machine as 0. This is because these types of open-ended assignments do not have a predefined answer key that the system can use to grade them. For these assignments, all solutions are different and must be evaluated by the teacher.
You can also get extra points for correct solutions that are not included in the answer key. The automatic grading will not recognize this and will not award points.
Since automatic grading grades on a letter-by-letter basis, the system may give a correct solution a score of 0 if you do not use accents or capital letters. It is worth paying attention to this, and if you make such a mistake, the teacher can still re-evaluate your solution when checking it.
