# Man Hit By Bullets Intended For Another Man In Sangre Grande

37-year-old Richard James, aka Frame of Vega De Oropouche Sangre Grande, was shot in the hip and hand sometime after 1 a.m. on Sunday.

According to police, the victim was at Etings Club along Ojoe Road, Sangre Grande, when there was an altercation between two men that was quelled.

Another man, identified as Kareem Mohammed, pulled out a gun a short while later and began firing shots.

Mohammed then entered a vehicle that began moving, and he continued firing shots at persons outside the bar, hitting Frame in the left hip.

The victim was taken to the Sangre Grande District Hospital, and the police were notified about the shooting.

Crime Scene Investigators recovered two spent and one live round of 9mm ammunition at the scene.

PC Salickram of the Sangre Grande CID is probing the incident.
