# Couple Shot in Port Of Spain

COUPLE SHOT IN PORT OF SPAIN

Police are presently at the scene of a shooting in Port of Spain where a Diego Martin woman  and her 27 year old boyfriend of Cocorite were both shot inside a vehicle.

According to sources, around 8:15pm on Wednesday 26th March 2025; Surrayah Harrigin of Diego Martin and her boyfriend Akeem Blugh were in a Nissan Tiida at Oxford Street, Port-of-Spain.

Harrigin, who was the driver  of the vehicle, and Blugh had just left the nearby Charford Court.

 In the vicinity of the traffic lights 🚦at the corner of Charlotte & Oxford Street, they were ambushed and gunmen openfire on them.

Harrigin was shot in the neck and Blugh in the leg 🦵. 

The police were contacted and responded.

The lawmen took Harrgin and Blugh to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital 🏥 for medical treatment, where Harrigin is listed in a critical condition and Blugh in a stable condition.

Sources who wished to remain anonymous said that Blugh was affiliated to a "religious gang" in the Cocorite area.
