Fire broke out at Max Grill:
Around 4:27pm on Tuesday 25th March, 2025, a cook was grilling chicken in the kitchen at Max Grill House along Chaguanas Main Road, when he observed the exhaust fan above the grill on fire.
An alarm was raised and the exhaust fan was unplugged; however, several attempts to extinguish the blaze proved futile.
The fire services were notified, and officers of the Chaguanas Fire Stationn led by FSSO Dorner, visited the scene and managed to put out the fire.
Checks revealed that the exhaust fan was destroyed and partial
damage was done to the roof of the building.
