# **Welcome to the (ISC)² Israel Chapter Portal!**

## Promoting the awareness of Information Security throughout Israel

### (ISC)² Israel Chapter is a non profit member community of (ISC)² credential holders in Israel.

- We aim to advance the Israel ecosystem of Cyber and Information System Security Professionals.

- We provide members with the opportunity to build a local network of peers to share knowledge, exchange resources, collaborate on projects, and create new ways to earn CPE credits.  

- Our chapter programs provides members access to knowledge sharing from Government Agencies and Industry leaders.

- The community focus is leadership, professionalism and education in the security realms; primarily information security.

- We keep our members informed of the latest technological  advances, techniques, issues, innovations, policies and more!

All chapter members are**¹** (ISC)² [certified ](https://www.isc2.org/Certifications), attaining one or more of these (ISC)² credentials - [CC](https://www.isc2.org/Certifications/CC), [SSCP](https://www.isc2.org/Certifications/SSCP), [CAP](https://www.isc2.org/Certifications/CAP), [CSSLP](https://www.isc2.org/Certifications/CSSLP), [CCSP](https://www.isc2.org/Certifications/CCSP), [HCISSP](https://www.isc2.org/Certifications/HCISPP), [CISSP](https://www.isc2.org/Certifications/CISSP) or these [advanced ](https://www.isc2.org/Certifications/CISSP-Concentrations)certification: ISSMP, ISSAP, ISSEP.

We have over 200 chapter members, and we’re growing fast! Our members includes a wide populous: Students, practicing professionals , and senior leaders.

Any, past or current, (ISC)² credentialed persons residing in Israel may be admitted.

Non Israeli residents with significant, long term, security related work activities relating to Israel may be considered.

A non (ISC)² credentialed person may, by decision from the chapter leadership, be granted membership and associated privileges as long as _honoris causa _is stated at all times.

Persons which may not be granted membership, and may be removed from membership through a unanimous chapter leadership decision, are:

1. Persons with a criminal record - disgracing / deemed unfit, as decided by the chapter leadership

2. Persons who performed, through action or inaction, activities disgracing / deemed unfit, as decided by the chapter leadership

3. Persons who act in a foul or threatening manner to other members
