# May Brooks-Kempler

**Chapter Founder & Former President**

CISO, Entrepreneur, Podcaster, Commentator, Public speaker, Author

May  is a seasoned cyber security expert. She began her Cyber security career as an IDF officer and has held roles as a security architect, compliance and risk manager, and CISO. She is an entrepreneur, lecturer, podcaster, commentator, public speaker, and the author of "Don't Click Here - The ultimate guide to online safety".

May is an authorized (ISC)**²** instructor and was a contributing author to the 2019 version of the HCISPP official study guide and the 2021 CISSP official study guide.

She is passionate about promoting the profession and has been a mentor to dozens of aspiring cybersecurity start-ups and professionals throughout the years. In 2017 she founded the Israeli chapter of (ISC)**²** and has been the president of the chapter until relocating to the UAE in 2022.
