This funding will enhance hands-on training, mentorship opportunities, and job placement support. The goal is clear: provide women with equal access to well-paying trade careers while addressing Ontario's urgent skilled labour shortage.

Ontario Needs More Skilled Trades Professionals
Employers across the province continue to face talent shortages. Over the next decade, Ontario expects more than 100,000 skilled trade positions to open — many in advanced manufacturing and CNC-related fields.
