Naver CUE unveiledโ€”such an appealing service ๐Ÿคฉ

Haebom
Cue is a conversational AI search service offered by Naver. When a user asks a question naturally, Cue understands it and delivers the information they're looking for. What's interesting is that, unlike most LLM-based chat services so far that either don't bother to show or purposely hide how they produce information, Cue reveals the whole process step by step.
When you actually use Cue, you'll notice it leverages technologies like Reasoning, Planning, Tool Usage, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation. This enables Cue to achieve the user's search intent and generate trustworthy answers.
Scenarios that are possible because it's Naverโ€”for example, shopping, finding evidence in web documents, or scraping useful information based on map or blog data.
One downside is that it often loses track of the context; it's not clear whether that's because the multi-turn conversations break down after a certain point or because it doesn't refer back to previous results when you enter a new prompt. Still, it delivers pretty satisfying results overall. (If you pick a suggested question, the multi-turn works really well, but follow-up questions can be tricky.)
If I had to guess why, the UI makes it look like all the questions are in a single conversation, but actually, each question is being separated into its own chatโ€”so that's where the issue comes from. Just like in the image above, the 3, 2, and 3 from the bottom were each consecutive questions, yet they created separate chat threads. Still, considering it's in CBT format, that's understandable.
CUE definitely stands out with a lot of appealing points. What's most impressive is that, coming out later than chatGPT, Bard, or Bing, it absorbed the strengths and weaknesses of each service and organized both model performance and user issues neatly in terms of UI/UX.
