Elon Musk recently criticized LinkedIn, calling it “shameful,” and hinted at using his social media platform X to compete with the platform. Musk said he does receive LinkedIn links, but prefers to receive resumes and cover letters via email. He added that X’s LinkedIn competitor would be “cool.”
And three days later, Elon Musk unveiled a new solution called X hiring.
Elon Musk-owned social media company X (formerly Twitter) has introduced a new recruiting feature called 'XHiring'. The feature allows companies with 'Verified Organizations' status to post job openings directly from their X handle. The tool is currently in beta and will be receiving feedback from a limited number of users. To use the feature, companies will have to pay $1,000 per month .
Points to note
Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or XML Feed Support: Companies can use their Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or XML feeds to bring their recruiting data into XHiring.
Searchable by keyword, location, and other criteria: Applicants can search job postings using keywords, location, and other criteria.
Apply directly within the platform: Applicants can apply for the position directly within the X platform and if successful, the company will contact you.
These new features are expected to make the hiring process more efficient and facilitate interactions between companies and candidates.

요즘 X의 API 가격이나 이런 가격을 보면 현실 감각이 없는 엄청난 부자가 값을 정하는게 아닐까 하는 생각이 들더라고요... 누군지는 말 안하겠습니다.
