Outline

This paper addresses the risks associated with the increasing social influence of artificial intelligence (AI) technology and proposes an evaluation method for trustworthy AI. The complexity and capabilities of AI systems have led to an increasing dependence on technologies that operate beyond direct human supervision or understanding, and various theoretical tools and guidelines have been developed to mitigate this risk. However, existing guidelines provide a holistic view but lack the technology to quantify trustworthiness, and technical tools are advantageous for quantification but lack a holistic view. Therefore, this paper proposes an evaluation method that combines the ethical components of trustworthy AI and the algorithmic process by utilizing the PageRank and TrustRank algorithms, thereby providing quantitative insight into the trustworthiness of AI systems and enabling objective evaluation.

Takeaways, Limitations

Takeaways: By presenting an AI reliability evaluation method using the PageRank and TrustRank algorithms, it overcomes the limitations of the existing subjective self-evaluation method and enables quantitative evaluation of the reliability of AI systems. It provides a more comprehensive evaluation of AI reliability by integrating ethical guidelines and algorithmic approaches.
Limitations: Additional verification of the practical applicability and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is required. Consideration is required for possible bias and limitations due to the characteristics of the PageRank and TrustRank algorithms. Further research is required on the applicability and generalizability to various types of AI systems. Consideration is required for the complexity and computational cost of the algorithm.
