Meta unveils CoTracker to make object separation in videos easier

CoTracker is a video motion estimation tool jointly developed by Meta AI and the Visual Geometry Group at Oxford University. It can track multiple points simultaneously to more accurately understand the movement of objects in a video. Existing methods track points individually or estimate the instantaneous movement of all points using optical flow. CoTracker models the correlation of multiple points over time based on a transformer network.
