I shared this before, Twitter (now __T23_____) said that they are restricting the disclosure of Twitter data. This is the first legal dispute case since the restriction was implemented. There is no conclusion yet, but... now data really is money.
X Corp., formerly known as Twitter, is suing Israel-based web data aggregator Bright Data Ltd. for illegal scraping and selling. According to the lawsuit, filed in the Northern District of California, X Corp. claims Bright Data automatically scrapes large amounts of content and data from its social media platforms and sells them to third parties. Bright Data, founded in 2014, serves more than 20,000 customers. Bright Data CEO Or Lenchner has countered that the lawsuit is an “effort to build a wall around Twitter’s public data,” and that the company is fully compliant with the law.
