Figma, ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ’ป Dev Mode released
Haebom
Personally, what impressed me the most was the Dev Mode, which I think all the front desks and publishers were impressed with when they saw it.
To develop the design tools both designers and developers need, Figma introduces Dev Mode, a new workspace for developers.
Dev Mode provides developers with the information they need quickly and efficiently, and allows developers to utilize the tools they use every day.
Dev Mode connects design concepts and developer concepts, allowing developers to find and export the information they need.
Dev Mode uses completely redesigned code tailored to the language you use.
Dev Mode provides the ability to link tools and code components used by the team to design files.
Connect files, issues, PRs, etc. to Figma components and designs through the GitHub plugin
You can utilize tools such as Jira, Linear, and GitHub using plugins, and code generation plugins such as AWS Amplify Studio, Google Relay, and Anima are also available.
Easily access information needed for development by adding design tokens and related links.
Diff support available to compare differences between design files and code
Dev Mode features available in the code editor through the VS Code extension
Dev Mode and Figma for VS Code will be free to all users until the end of 2023, and only available as a paid plan from 2024.
A new plan option will also be available with access to Dev Mode only (for developers)
If you subscribe through the subscription button, you can receive useful news every day.
It would be a great help if you left a comment and emoji. It would be even better if you could share it!
