There are more developers in the market. What next?

The irony I often encounter while working in the IT industry for 10 years is, "There are no developers.", "I want to get a job as a developer." In fact, the number of developers has increased significantly recently. There may be a reason why the country has been pushing to develop software talent since the early 2010s, and the number of companies and educational programs related to coding has increased.
However, in many places, the phrase "there are no developers" still comes up. Is this simply because demand has increased and is exceeding the increased supply? Or is it "there are no (well-informed, super full-stack) developers"? In the meantime, I came across the following discussion.
It seems that many people overseas are similarly feeling the problems with existing computer engineering and coding education.
Problem 1. Not understanding clearly and moving on
Problem situation: Many schools have a theory-oriented education, for example, they may provide 10 examples before explaining an important concept like pointers.
Example: When students are shown example code without understanding pointers, they will simply copy and paste the code.
Problem 2. Lack of practicality
Problem Situation: Many students lack the ability to actually write code. They are taught only theory and practical coding skills are overlooked.
Example: You may get high marks on school tests, but when it comes to actually writing code, you often can't solve problems.
Problem 3. Lack of interest
Problem Situation: The education system doesn’t approach coding like a language, which causes students to lose interest in coding.
Example: If you think of coding as simply a tool for solving math problems, you may be hindering your creative problem-solving skills.
Solution: There must be a balance between theory and practicality.
Real-world examples: Keep students excited about coding by providing real-world examples they can use.
Coding as a Language: We need to adopt an approach that teaches coding as a language.
To overcome this, many boot camps have been created in Korea, but recently, there is an irony that you have to take a coding test again to enter a boot camp. It's like going to another academy to enter Gangnam Daesung Academy in the past...
