Outline

This study proposes a novel approach to mimic human consciousness by integrating psychoanalysis and the MBTI to build consciousness and personality modules. Three artificial consciousnesses (ego, unconscious, and preconscious) were developed based on psychoanalytic principles, and 16 characters representing the 16 MBTI types were designed. Ten situations were set up, considering seven attributes, including emotional understanding and logical thinking, to assess whether the model's artificial consciousness exhibited human-like cognitive abilities. Analysis of the decision-making process, including questionnaire evaluation, three-stage classification using ChatGPT, and qualitative review, confirmed the high likelihood of a well-simulated consciousness.

Takeaways, Limitations

Takeaways:
Combining psychoanalysis and personality theory suggests the possibility of building more intuitive and adaptive AI systems with human-like consciousness.
Presenting a novel approach to improving AI interaction in complex cognitive situations.
Limitations:
There is not much difference in response between different characters and consciousnesses.
